Charles R. “Chuck” Marquardt of Brecksville died Wednesday at the age of 55 after complications from a minor procedure.

Marquardt leaves behind his wife Barbara Bender, his son David, his sister Ellen Chay (Joe), his brother Keith Marquardt (Marsha), his sister and brothers-in-law Christa and Jim Krista, Karl Bender and his niece Lauren Kriska.
Marquardt enjoyed swimming, biking and running and, in his memory, his family asks drivers to remember to share the road with runners and bicyclists. A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. on May 19 at the Plateau picnic area in the .
