Diane D. Terry Obenauer, 78, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother

Diane D. Terry Obenauer of Brecksville and Hudson died May 17 at the age of 78.

Busch Funeral Home is overseeing the services and provided the following information on their website.

She was the mother of Ted Terry (Claire), Michael Terry (Margie), Mark Terry (Mary), Janice Obenauer Leopold (Larry), James Obenauer (Jill) and the late A. Davis Terry, John P. Terry and Robert P. Obenauer Jr.

She was also the grandmother of Ben, Leigh, Sam, Melissa, Allison, Rachel Terry Harvey (Ricky), Laura and Matt Terry and Jason Leopold (Julie), Becky Leopold Wade, Kelsey, Nikole and Stefanie Obenauer and the great-grandmother of Ethan Madden and Shea and Amelia Leopold. She was the wife of the late Dr. Robert P. Obenauer, who died in 2011, and the late P. Davis Terry, who died in 1977. Her parents, Helen B. and Dr. C. A. Davis, had also passed away.

Obenauer enjoyed singing, gardening, cooking and many other activities. She was an administrator in her husband’s dental practice and was involved in many organizations, such as the Friends of the Brecksville Library.

The family will receive friends at Busch Funeral Home from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on May 25. A memorial service will be held at her church, , at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
