In a nutshell

If there was an award given to a restaurant for having the best disguise, the Peppermill Bar and Grill would probably win hands-down. That’s because this popular Brecksville hangout, with its big-screen TV, its all-you-can-eat lunch buffet and its Wednesday night Jam Sessions, would seem your typical, well, bar and grill. But make no mistake, the Peppermill is really an Italian restaurant merely masquerading as a pub.

For every order of chicken wings, burger or reuben they serve, there are about a dozen or so other items on their menu that you would typically find in your average Italian restaurant, including several specialty pasta dishes.

Even a traditional “bar item” like their signature Little John burger, a tasty 7-inch high, 1/3 pound monster burger topped with sausage-stuffed banana peppers, mozzarella and marinara, has been given an Italian twist that gives it an even greater level of flavor. Pair it with a side of expertly crisped french fries and a bowl of their chicken soup and you have a meal that, by itself, is worth a repeat visit.

Editor's note: The headline originally had the incorrect name of the restaurant. It has now been corrected.

Without a doubt, the BEST thing on the menu..."Grouper with Rum butter sauce."
The hamburgers are not be compared with any other, fresh, and prepared on an open grill, what can be better?
