Another Report of Identity Theft in Brecksville

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Credit card fraudulently used: A Brecksville woman told police July 24 that someone made a fraudulent purchase on her credit card July 22.Β  She told detectives that her most recent purchase had been a t a Brecksville store. Disorderly conduct: A 44-year-old Broadview Heights woman was charged with jaywalking, disorderly conduct and public intoxication after an awkward exchange with police officers on Brecksville Road at around 7:15 p.m. July 19.

Warrant: A 22-year-old Cleveland man was taken into custody after Brecksville Police found he had an active arrest warrant out of the Cleveland State University Police Department, when he stopped in to the police station to get his car out of impound July 19.

Warrant: A 40-year-old Cleveland man was taken into custody by the Brecksville Police Department after officers found he had an active arrest warrant out of the Charleston (WV) Police Department, following a court appearance at 8:45 a.m. July 24.
