Brecksville Police Arrest Four on Active Warrants

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Drunken driving: A 38-year-old Sagamore Hills man was charged with operating vehicle of alcohol following a traffic stop on Route 82 at around 12:45 a.m. July 15. Officers told the passenger that she could drive the vehicle if she were sober, but she failed the field sobriety test and the car was towed. After refusing the Breathalyzer test, the man was arrested — but not before insulting the officer. 

Warrant: A 26-year-old Maple Heights man was picked up by the Brecksville Police Department after officers found he had an active arrest warrant out of the Walton Hills Police Department, following a traffic stop on Chippewa Road at around 7 p.m. July 12. 

Warrant: A 22-year-old Parma man was taken into custody for an unpaid traffic ticket out of the Parma Police Department on Snowville Road at around 4:45 p.m. July 13, after Brecksville officers saw him holding up traffic while riding his skateboard in the street.

Warrant: A 38-year-old Cleveland woman was picked up by the Brecksville Police Department after officers found she had an active arrest warrant out of the Euclid Police Department, following a traffic stop on Chippewa Road at around 7 a.m. July 17.

Warrant: A 22-year-old Texas man was picked up by the Brecksville Police Department after officers found he had an active arrest warrant out of the Kent State University Police Department, following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 12 a.m. July 18. He was also cited for driving with a cracked windshield.
