Brecksville Police Blotter: Property Damage, Possession of Marijuana

The following incidents were reported by the Brecksville Police Department on July 25. The information was compiled by police reports.

Property damage

Police talked to a seasonal Service Department employee on July 25, who said he accidentally broke two windows of a Brecksville Road building while trimming weeds. The former owners of the building were contacted the next day, and they said the property was in foreclosure.

Possession of marijuana

A 42-year-old Cleveland man was pulled over on Interstate 77 shortly after 8 p.m. on July 25 for having a large crack in his windshield. The police soon learned that the car belonged to his fiancée’s brother, and that the man had multiple driving suspensions.

In the trunk, the officer found a duffel bag with an X-box, several remotes for it and 11 bags of marijuana. The man was charged with possession of marijuana, driving under suspension and driving an unsafe vehicle.
