Property damage

On July 25, a Columbus driver reported property damage to his vehicle after driving through Brecksville. The man had been driving eastbound through construction on Snowville Road in June when he said he hit a ditch that had not been filled in. He noted that there had been signs warning of construction, but nothing that mentioned open holes.

A Brecksville man reported fraud to the police on July 21. The man was contacted by a debt collection agency about five months ago for a bill from a cable and Internet company that he did not have an account with. The man said he thinks a relative opened an account with his identity, and that person promised to make payments, but he said he is still receiving notices from the collection agency.
