Brecksville Police Blotter: Residents Report Numerous Thefts From Cars

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following incidents were reported by the on Oct. 27 through Oct. 29. The information was compiled by police reports.

  • Police were called to a home on Sunstone Drive on Oct. 29. The resident said that $65 and more than $100 in cards to various stores and restaurants had been taken from her husband’s vehicle between Oct. 25 and Oct. 28.
  • A Cinnabar Drive resident stopped at the police station on Oct. 27 to report that money and an iPod had been stolen from her car the night before. The car had been unlocked in the resident’s driveway.
  • Police were called to a Pin Tail Drive home on Oct. 27. The resident told police that someone had taken an iPod, a bottle of wine and some change from two vehicles in their garage sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The garage door and the car doors had been unlocked.
