Delivery Truck Backs Into Salt Barn

Salt truck accident

A salt delivery truck backed into the city’s salt barn at 9023 Brecksville Road at around 9:30 a.m. Feb. 2. “Minimal” damage was reported to the structure, including some wood that had been bent and broken near the roof. No damage was reported to the Arms Trucks Company’s vehicle.

Faulty garage door at service department

A bus, belonging to the city’s human services department, was damaged after a faulty garage door at the city’s maintenance garage malfunctioned at around 11:20 a.m. Feb. 6. The rear-view mirror on the bus was broken, and minor damage was reported to the passenger-side fender.

A 45-year-old Cleveland man, employed by a towing company, was taken into custody for a contempt-of-court warrant out of Macedonia at around 10:40 a.m. Feb. 8, after he attempted to get a tow release for a vehicle.
