Don’t Forget to ‘Spring Forward’ Tonight

Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on March 13.

Residents who don’t like being late may want to change their clocks before going to sleep tonight, because Daylight Saving Time kicks in at 2 a.m. on Sunday.

This is the “spring forward” portion of Daylight Saving Time, so move your clocks ahead one hour.

The Ohio Department of Commerce's Division of State Fire Marshal also encourages citizens to change the batteries in their smoke detectors whenever they change their clocks for Daylight Saving Time, according to this press release.
