Drunken Driving and Marijuana Possession: Brecksville Police Blotter

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Drunken driving

A 44-year-old Brecksville woman was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 6 p.m. May 31.

Police had received several calls of a possible drunken driver. One motorist told police that her erratic driving was captured on video from his cell phone.

She refused to take a test for blood-alcohol content. The woman’s husband — and the registered owner of the car — showed up on the scene and asked to take the vehicle rather than the police having it towed.
