Flooding, Road Closure Updates for March 5

The National Weather Service is predicting more rain and possibly thunderstorms today in Brecksville. According to the service’s forecast, that precipitation may switch to snow after midnight.
Cuyahoga County is under a flood advisory today until 6:30 p.m. and a flood watch through Sunday morning. The text of the advisory tells drivers to be cautious and reminds them not to drive through areas of standing water.

- The said that as of about 10 a.m., Riverview Road was closed at Vaughn Road.
- The entire Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail in the , which runs through Brecksville, has been closed, according to a press release from the park.
- The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad has cancelled its tours this weekend, according to a press release from the park.
