Flooding Updates, Road Closures in Brecksville

Cuyahoga County, including Brecksville, is under a flood watch today due to rainfall and melting snow in the region, the National Weather Service reports. The extent of potential flooding is not known.

Road closures, other delays:

• Dispatch at the said that as of 9:20 a.m., the only road in the city that’s closed is Riverview Road. That road is closed from south of state Route 82 to Snowville Road.
• The Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District is on a two-hour delay this morning, according to the district website. Students will be picked up late and cannot be dropped off at their schools at the regular time. 
• The phone message for the Cleveland Metroparks’ Parkway Alert Line is reporting that the majority of the roads in their parks are closed this morning.
