Man Charged With Assault After He Was Fired From Gas Station

A 23-year-old Brecksville man was arrested and charged with assault and obstructing official business after he was fired and threw a bottle at a clerk at around 7:30 p.m. May 7.

After making several threats against the co-worker, the man returned to the Brecksville Road gas station where he had worked β€” and where the situation escalated β€” according to the police report.

The man, who returned to the store with his girlfriend, launched a bottle of hand sanitizer at the employee, who promptly called the police.

The man’s girlfriend, a 22-year-old Brecksville woman, was also arrested. She was charged with obstructing official business.
