Man Charged With Cocaine Possession Following Traffic Stop

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 34-year-old Lyndhurst man was charged with possession of cocaine following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 9:30 a.m. May 6.

Police stopped him for not having properly displayed tags on the car.

Following a search of the vehicle, officers found four small bags of suspected powder and crack cocaine.

They also found a couple of empty bags and a cut-up straw — suspected for using powdered cocaine.

Turns out that the man also had a warrant out for his arrest out of the Mayfield Police Department for failure to appear.

His car was towed and impounded.
