Man Charged With Heroin Possession After Highway Traffic Stop

Heroin possession: 24-year-old Cleveland man was faces several drug-related charges following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 11 p.m. July 17. During the traffic stop, officers spotted an open case of beer on the floor and the driver was “shaking like a leaf” during the traffic stop. A search of the vehicle turned up what appeared to be heroin. He was charged with possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia and driving with an open container. His bond was set at $3,500.

Drug paraphernalia: A 32-year-old Tallmadge man was arrested and charged with drug possession after a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 4:15 a.m. July 19. While he was being given a ticket for speeding, officers spotted an open container of beer and a search of the car turned up a “grinder” for marijuana use. He was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and open container.
