Man Charged With Menacing Following Case of Road Rage

Menacing

A 67-year-old Valley Parkway man was charged with menacing following a case of reported road rage at around 7 p.m. May 6. That’s when police received a report of the man banging on the windows, screaming at the occupants, of a car in the parking lot of the Heinen’s. The man said he’d been cut off while driving.

A 25-year-old Cleveland man was arrested on a warrant out of North Royalton following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 7:30 a.m. May 11.

A 26-year-old Akron woman was arrested on a warrant out of the Kent State University Police Department following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 6:15 p.m. May 9.

Drunken driving

A 41-year-old Lakewood man was charged with drunken driving following an incident — in which a woman called police saying she was in the car against her will — at around 10 p.m. May 4. Police are reviewing the incident because there may be additional charges, according to the report.
