Man Charged With Pot Possession Following Traffic Stop

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 22-year-old Akron man was charged with possession of marijuana after he was stopped on Interstate 77 at around 7:45 p.m. May 2.

Police learned that he was driving on a suspended license. After officers took him into custody, and while they completed a tow inventory, they found a small glass pipe with marijuana residue inside of it and a small amount of marijuana.

He was taken to the Brecksville Police Department for processing and held for bond.
