Man Picked Up on Arrest Warrant After Panhandling for Bus Fare

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Warrant: Police received a report of a man asking for money for bus fare at the Walgreens on Brecksville Road at around 1 p.m. Sept. 8. The 28-year-old Cleveland man was taken into custody after officers learned he had two warrant out for his arrest. While at the police station, he registered a .171 blood-alcohol content, and was warned about his behavior while in his jail cell, according to the report.

Warrant: A 39-year-old Cleveland man was taken into custody following a traffic stop on Brecksville Road at around 5:15 p.m. Sept. 6, after officers realized he had a warrant for his arrest out of the county sheriff’s office.

Warrant: A 45-year-old Cleveland man was arrested after officers learned he had a felony warrant out for his arrest, following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7.

Warrant: A 25-year-old Akron woman was taken into custody after officers learned she had a warrant out for her arrest following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 11:45 p.m. Sept. 8.
