Man Stops at Police Department, Arrested on Felony Warrant

When Mohammad Al-Nazer stopped by the Brecksville Police Department to get his car out of impound, one of the officers at the station recognized him.

A 30-year-old Rocky River man, who stopped into the Brecksville Police Department to get his car out of impound on July 30, was taken into custody on a felony warrant.Β 

Mohammad Al-Nazer was arrested July 8 and charged with improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, according to court records.

He skipped his July 17 arraignment and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

When Al-Nazer stopped by the Brecksville Police Department to get his car out of impound, one of the officers at the station recognized him.

He was taken to the Cuyahoga County Jail, and his bond was set at $1,500.
