Man Strikes Guardrail, Cited for Driving Under Suspension

June 6 wasn’t a good day for a 20-year-old Cleveland man.

According to the police report, the tire blew out on his grandparents’ Chevy Impala while he was driving on Interstate 77 at around 6:45 p.m. June 6.

Then, he lost control of the vehicle and struck a guardrail just north of the Ohio Turnpike.

When officers found him, he was changing the tire. However, there was damage to the right front headlight and the front quarter-panel, according to the report.

Turns out, he was driving on a suspended license. He was also cited for failure to control.

The car was towed and impounded.
