Wallet holds suspended license, marijuana
Police pulled an SUV over on Brecksville Road at 8:47 p.m. on July 19 after noticing that only one brake light was working and that the license plate was partially covered.

The driver, a 23-year-old Cleveland woman, quickly told the officer that she did not have a license, and was driving because the car’s owner couldn’t drive at night. She did have a driver’s license from Tennessee, but it was expired.

The two passengers checked out and, before they left, the driver asked if one of them could take her wallet and her necklace. The officer opened the wallet up first, finding two small bags of marijuana. The officer opted to take the wallet to the station with the driver, who was charged with possession of marijuana. She was also cited for the brake lights, for the improper display of plates, for driving without a license and for driving under suspension.
