Motorist Tries to Pass Garbage Truck, Strikes It Instead
No one was injured in the Sept. 3 collision.
An 83-year-old Brecksville woman was cited for an improper lane change after she struck a garbage truck while trying to pass it on Whitewood Drive at around 2 p.m. Sept. 3.
According to the crash report, the garbage truck was passing a parked car, when the woman attempted to pass the garbage truck — both of them headed east.
Her SUV struck the left rear of the garbage truck. Damage to both vehicles was minor.

Neither the woman nor the driver of the truck was injured.
