An officer pulled a car over on Brecksville Road for failing to use its turn signal at 8:10 p.m. on March 24. The officer thought the driver, a 34-year-old Brecksville woman, had been drinking. She agreed to do some field sobriety tests and did not do well. She was later charged with operating a vehicle under the influence and cited for the lane change.

Before heading to the station, the officer searched the car, spotting a pipe and a bag of marijuana in the pocket of a jacket on the passenger seat. The passenger, a 20-year-old Brecksville man, said the jacket was his, and he was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Neither were the best hiding places
An officer pulled over a car with particularly dark windows on Interstate 77 just before 12:30 p.m. on March 24. The passenger, a 39-year-old Waynesburg woman, first handed over a partially burnt marijuana cigarette from the ashtray. She also later gave the police a bag with money, rolling papers and a marijuana cigarette from her underwear. She was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver, a 59-year-old Canton man, was cited for driving under suspension and for the window tint.
