Police Make Arrests on Interstate 77 for Pot Possession
The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Pot possession: A 21-year-old Garfield Heights man was charged with marijuana possession after a traffic stop on Interstate 90 at around 12:05 a.m. Aug. 27. After a search of his car, officers found a vial of marijuana containing four small bags of marijuana.
Pot charges: A 30-year-old Canton man and his 19-year-old passenger, from East Sparta, were charged with marijuana possession following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 9:45 a.m. Aug. 23. Both of them were found in possession of various bags of marijuana.
Warrant: A 34-year-old Cleveland man was taken into custody after police learned that he had a warrant out for his arrest — out of the Parma and North Olmsted police departments — following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 at around 2:55 p.m. Aug. 24.
