Some Traffic Lights Out in Brecksville

Some houses may also have been affected by the outage.

A fallen tree took out many of the traffic lights on Brecksville Road today, Brecksville Police Dispatcher Nick Robich said. 

The first light was reported out around 1:20 p.m.; Robich said that lights near the police station and north of state Route 82 on Brecksville Road were out earlier today. He said the cause of the outage was a tree falling on a substation near the . Robich said the department does not know when all of the lights will be back on. 

As of about 4:30 p.m., some lights were still out, and temporary stop signs were placed near the intersections.

Some households were also affected, Robich said; residents should contact their electric company for more information.
