Man faces additional charges after speeding on Interstate 77.

A 27-year-old Cleveland man faces a marijuana charge after he was stopped by the Brecksville Police for speeding in the early morning of Jan. 27.

Officers stopped the man for speeding northbound on Interstate 77 at around 1:30 a.m., when they learned that he didn’t have a valid drivers license.

During the “tow inventory” officers found a bag containing suspected marijuana in the glove box. The man was charged with speeding, failure to reinstate license status and possession of marijuana.

He posted $375 bond and was scheduled to appear in the Brecksville Mayor’s Court.

One of the two passengers, a 27-year-old Cleveland woman, was arrested taken into custody for an active warrant for her arrest out of the Brooklyn Police Department.
