Two Arrested for Lying to Police About Their Identities

The following information was supplied by the Brecksville Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 39-year-old Ravenna woman and a 42-year-old Kimbolton man were arrested and charged with falsifying information to the police following a traffic stop on Interstate 77 on May 5.

Officers stopped the vehicle — a red Volkwagen Jetta — for not having rear lighting on the license plate at around 11:15 p.m.  They also noticed that the windows were too tinted for Ohio law.

When asked for identification, the man and the woman both lied about their identities.
