Woman Charged With Drunken Driving After Traffic Stop

A 27-year-old Cleveland woman was charged with operating a vehicle after dirving erratically, briefly leading police on a high-speed chase around a parking lot, and then arguing with officers on April 21.

The woman’s passenger was charged with open container.

Brecksville Police stopped the driver near Miller Road and South Edgerton Road at around 11:45 p.m. April 21

The officer found liquor in a plastic cup, and later found both women to be intoxicated.

The driver failed the Breathalyzer test, registering a .17 blood-alcohol-content — more than twice the legal limit.

At one point, according to the report, the drunken driver told police that she had used cocaine earlier in the evening, and at other times referring to the arresting officer as “Pretty Boy Floyd.”

She was released after posting a $525 bond.
