City Council Continues Flooding Discussion

The mayor said the city will apply for a study to be done on Chippewa Creek.

Brecksville City Council continued to discuss the during at . 

Council member Mike Harwood and Mayor Jerry N. Hruby gave members an overview of some of the recent steps to address the flooding in Chippewa Creek during the committees meeting. Hruby also responded to a question from the public about the flooding during the regular meeting.

Hruby said the city plans to apply for an Army Corps of Engineers study on the area.

Council also learned that the was awarded the . The grant will be used to improve safety in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District, taking measures like installing security cameras at some buildings.
