Clinical Technology, Inc. Granted Preliminary Approval for Construction

Planning Commission approved all agenda items Thursday evening.

involved approving preliminary plans for Clinical Technology, Inc.’s construction. Also addressed was a long-discussed Rambus expansion and land re-subdivision, which was approved.

Dennis Forchione, president, gained preliminary approval to move forward with construction. Architect Gary Ogrocki presented the plans for the site, bringing the proposed building materials for the project. Commission asked for clarification on the warehouse-type structure accompanying the office building.

“It is not a distribution center,” said Clinical Technology purchasing agent and general manager, Craig Zeleznik. “There’s not going to be trucks coming in and out.”

He explained there would be lab equipment, though, and commission agreed upon the idea. The medical product distributor will move from Broadview Heights to South Edgerton Road in Brecksville.

In , Ray Fogg Building Methods, Inc. came to planning commission with plans for re-subdivision of the lot and Rambus building alterations on W. Snowville Rd. Thursday, the commission requested council’s approval after much time working together to make the changes work.

Other items on the agenda:

  • The new restaurant at 8188 Brecksville Rd., , was granted approval of a new front sign.  Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers' Association received approval for a sign as well.
  • gained approval of a new parking lot, and demolition of the house will be decided at a later date.
  • A resident's patio pergola on Windward Hills Drive was approved for construction.
  • Planning Commission approved an Overbrook Drive deck replacement and expansion.
