Deadline to Request Vote by Mail Ballot for Aug. 2 Election is Saturday

The only issue on the ballot for Brecksville voters is a school renewal levy.

If you were planning to vote in the by mail, time is running out. 

According to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website, all applications for vote by mail ballots must be in by noon on Saturday. And the ballots themselves have to be postmarked by Aug. 1 at the latest (overseas vote by mail ballots have an extra day). The ballots can also be returned in person at the Board of Elections by 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 2. 

There is one issue on the ballot for Brecksville voters – a . The levy wouldn’t raise taxes for voters. If passed, it will become a continuing levy and not go back to the voters in the future.
