Election Reminder: Send Back Vote By Mail Ballots Before Election Day

Absentee ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 7 to be counted.

If you’re planning to vote by mail in the Nov. 8 election but haven’t sent your ballots back yet, you still have a few days.

According to a press release from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, absentee ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 7 – the day before Election Day. Anything that the board receives after that won’t be counted.

If you forget to mail your ballot, you can turn it in on Election Day at the Board of Elections at 2925 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland. The press release notes that voters can’t drop off absentee ballots at their local voting location.
