If you have some errands to run at the beginning of this week, you might want to plan ahead. Here are some of the businesses and government offices that will be closed or have special hours for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day:
New Year’s Eve:
- Don’t bother stopping by the library today—the Brecksville branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library will be closed on New Year’s Eve.
- The Human Services Center will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Monday.
- If you want to get a workout in at the Community Center today, make it an early one: the center will be open from 5:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.
- Heinen’s will be closing early at 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
- You have a little more time to pick up last-minute New Year’s Eve supplies at the Giant Eagle in Broadview Heights—it won’t be closing until 9 p.m.
New Year’s Day:
- City offices, including the Service Department, will be closed on New Year’s Day. This means Tuesday trash and recycling pickup will be delayed.
- The Human Services Center and the Community Center will also be closed.
- The Brecksville branch of the library will remain closed on New Year’s Day.
- Heinen’s will be closed on Tuesday.
- And the Giant Eagle in Broadview Heights will be open from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. on New Year’s Day.
