Road Repairs Scheduled for 2012

Here's a look at the roadwork residents will see this spring and summer.

Here’s a quick look at the road repairs scheduled for this spring and summer. For a look at some of the bigger projects the city has in store for the summer—the ones that will close roads for weeks at a time—.

The following information was provided by Director of Public Services Ron Weidig:

Roads to be milled and resurfaced with asphalt:

  • Miller Road, from South Edgerton Road to Katherine Boulevard
  • Highland Drive, from Valley Parkway to Barr Road
  • Royalton Road, from the speed limit sign to Highland Drive
  • Greystone Parkway, from Brecksville Road to Silver Creek

Concrete repairs:

  • Orianna Street
  • Seth Payne Street
  • Crinkleroot Clearing
  • Settlers Passage
  • Hinckley Circle
  • Queens Way
  • Knights Way
  • Forge Drive
  • Shenandoah Drive
  • West Snowville Road
  • Lake Forest Drive
  • Gatewood Drive
  • Covewood Court
  • Deer Run
  • Log Cabin Court
  • Boxelder Drive
  • Old Quarry Lane
  • Glen Forest Trail
  • Cranbrook Drive
  • Forest Lane
  • A portion of Riverview Road

Weidig said the concrete repairs were already underway. The asphalt repairs won’t take place until July and August, which is after Home Days.

Additionally, a portion of Brecksville Road will be sealed for cracks, a product used to extend the life of roads will be applied on a number of streets, and all city streets will be painted.
