Shred Your Documents For Free Next Saturday

The city will hold another "Shred Your Documents Day" in the municipal parking lot on Brecksville Road.

Gather up all those sensitive documents you don’t want to toss in the trash – Brecksville’s next "Shred Your Documents Day" is July 16. 

From 9 a.m. until noon in the parking lot near the , the city will shred your paperwork for free.  

Residents are asked to bring canned goods for the Brecksville Pantry in exchange for the service, according to information from the city. And the city asks that people remove metal from the documents, not including staples, before turning them in.

After the last shredding day in May, Human Services Director Ted Lux said in an email that it was the most food they’ve collected.
