State Representatives Meet With Local Business Owners

The discussion covered a variety of topics that people think need to be revised.

State Representative Marlene Anielski wants to hear exactly what business owners think needs to change to make Ohio more competitive.

Anielski, 17th district, and State Representative Mike Dovilla, 18th district, spent some time in Broadview Heights Tuesday night listening to the concerns of local business owners. The two have scheduled a few meetings throughout the end of August and September to get input from the business community on what laws restrict their productivity or efficiency. Both are on the Economic and Small Business Development Committee in the Ohio House of Representatives.

Anielski said after the meeting that she hopes to get specifics, right down to the part of the Ohio Revised Code that owners feel is standing in their way.  She welcomes background information and suggestions for how to change it.
