Tea Party Express Coming to Brecksville Friday Night

The Tea Party Express is kicking off its “Restoring the American Dream” bus tour today, and Brecksville is one of its first stops.

The event was just confirmed this morning, said spokesperson Taylor Budowich. The rally, which will include patriotic entertainers, comedians and speakers, will begin at 5 p.m. Friday.

Update, 2:48 p.m.: Bonnie Longo in the mayor's office said the rally will take place in the city's municipal parking lot near the , instead of the  parking lot.

According to a statement on the Tea Party Express’ website, this tour will focus on key states in the 2012 Presidential and Congressional campaign. From Brecksville, the 11-day tour will move on to Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri before finishing up in Texas. Brecksville is the only location scheduled for Ohio.
