THE VILLAGE AT MARYMOUNT HONORS THREE CENTENARIANS AMONG 90-PLUS CLUB MEMBERS

The Village at Marymount on Jan. 16 honored four members of its Centenarians Club: Continuing Care Unit resident Dorothy Borer (102); Marymount Place resident Theresa Yacobucci (100); and Clare Hall resident Olga Hoegler (100). Clare Hall resident Mary Ratajczak celebrates her 100th birthday in March.

The Village at Marymount has honored members of its 90-Plus Club each year since 1990. The original group started with 12 members, and Louise Myers, one of Marymount Place’s first residents and 90-Plus Club members, lived to be 100 years old.

“The members of our 90-Plus Club are extremely active within Marymount Place and The Village at Marymount,’’ said Donna Galbraith, Director of Life Enrichment. “Most of these residents attend worship services, deliver newspapers and mail to other residents, work in our residents’ store, go on outings, and do their own shopping. They are our most active residents.”
