5 Things You Need to Know This Week, March 28 – April 3
There's plenty to plan ahead for this week.
- There’s no school for students in the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District or the South Suburban Montessori School this week – they’re on spring break!
- The will continue its weekly “” through the month of April.
- Keep your eyes open on Friday – it’s April Fool's Day!
- If anyone is not registered to vote and would like to vote in the May 3 election (the one with the on it), they should do so this week. According to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website, potential voters must register at least 30 days before an election.
- And while you’re planning ahead, note that Brecksville’s Service Department will pick up brush next week to chip for mulch. Director of Public Services Ron Weidig said that people can place yard waste out now, but it must be bundled and broken into small pieces. Next week, the city can chip larger branches and brush that residents leave on the curb and it does not have to be bundled.
