Bees Take a Minute for Fitness as Part of the JAM World Record Event

Check out the routine Brecksville-Broadview Heights students performed this morning as part of the event.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights students took a minute this morning to get active as part of the 2012 JAM World Record event.

At 10 a.m., participating students across the country stopped what they were doing and took just one minute to exercise. Maria Schneider, physical education teacher at the middle school, said the event raises awareness of the importance of being active. The JAM organization came up with a routine for everyone to do, but the Bees put their own twist on it, adding a move from the viral video “Gangnam Style” at the end.

Check out the YouTube video above that Schneider added of some of the middle school students practicing their routine. And if any teachers, principals or students snapped some photos this morning, feel free to add them above.
