Brecksville-Broadview Heights Earns a Spot on the AP Honor Roll

This is the second year the district has earned the distinction.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights has made the College Board’s AP District Honor Roll for the . The district is one of less than 400 across the U.S. and Canada to earn a spot on this year’s list.

The list has only been around for two years—last year, it was released in March and was referred to as the “AP Achievement List,” Deborah Davis of the College Board said in an email. From now on, the annual list will be compiled and released in the fall.

Districts on the list must increase the percentage of students taking the Advanced Placement exams and show improvement in students’ scores, according to the College Board's website. The calculations are based on three years of test data.

Earlier this month, the Ohio Department of Education highlighted the 23 Ohio districts on the list, including five in Cuyahoga County.
