Quoted: Gymnastics Coach Ron Ganim on Retiring
The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education honored the coach earlier this week.
"The girls have taught me more than I’ve taught them,” Coach Ron Ganim said at the school board meeting on Monday.
Ganim is retiring after coaching the gymnastics team for more than 30 years. Ganim used to coach football, as well, but joked that he was too immature to learn lessons there. He said it was the gymnasts who taught him about perseverance and goal-setting.
