Report: High School Adding Statistics to Its AP Offerings

In an effort to attract more students to STEM — science, technology, engineering and math disciplines — the district decided to go with a statistics course to compliment its other high-level math offerings.

A new Advanced Placement option is coming for students at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School.

Cleveland.com reported that the school will add AP statistics to the curriculum next school year. 

In an effort to attract more students to STEM — science, technology, engineering and math disciplines — the district decided to go with a statistics course to compliment its other high-level math offerings, reported the Sun Star Courier.

According to the post, the district was one of only 487 across the country selected to participate in the AP STEM Access Program.
