School Board to Discuss Renewal Levy, School Safety Upgrades

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the district’s .

This is a change in both date and time from the original schedule. At 6 p.m., the board will hear a presentation on the district’s permanent improvement projects. The official meeting will begin after that.

According to the agenda, the board will discuss a 6.8-mill renewal levy that expires at the end of 2012. The board has a few options for when to put the levy back on the ballot.

There are a number of other issues on the agenda. A few that stand out include contracts for a variety of school safety consultations and upgrades, as part of the , and a proposed delayed start for juniors and seniors during OGT week.
