U.S. News Names Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School One of the Top 50 in Ohio

The school was named 1005th in the nation in the report.

U.S. News & World Report has released its latest list of high school rankings, and has been ranked at 1005th nationwide and 40th in the state.

More than 20,000 public high schools across the country were analyzed for the report. Schools were ranked on a variety of factors, including how well students were performing and whether students were college ready. Read more about the methodology on the U.S. News & World Report website.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School was above the Ohio average for college readiness—based on the percentage of students who take Advanced Placement exams and how many pass—and for math and reading proficiency.

“I think this rating meets the expectations and commitment to excellence of our families, staff and students. It is a reflection of the generational heritage of fine education in two outstanding communities,” Principal Joseph Mueller said in an email.
