Bees to Start the Season at Browns Stadium on Saturday

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees and the North Royalton Bears will face off for the Golden Shoe again this weekend, but this year’s season opener is a bit more high-stakes than usual.
The Bees will be playing in the Cleveland Browns' Stadium.
The game will be part of the 2012 High School Football Charity Game, which will start at 2 p.m. Youngstown’s Cardinal Mooney and Cleveland’s St. Ignatius high schools will face off at 7 p.m. According to a press release, this is the 44th year for the charity game, and the proceeds benefit the Cleveland Browns Foundation and the four participating schools.
Last year, the Bees , beating the Bears 31 to 26.
Coach Jason Black said in an email that the game against North Royalton is always a big one, but having it at the Browns stadium makes it “extra special.”
According to the district website, tickets are on sale now at or for $10. At the game, tickets will be $12.
The Bees Athletic Boosters shared : a bring-your-own-breakfast celebration at the . The breakfast is scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m.
