Why Go: Every Thursday is "Feast & a Flick" at the Human Services Center for those who are 60 and older. Enjoy a full-course lunch at noon and follow it up with a great movie.

Price: $5 for lunch; the movie is free.

Why Go: Brecksville is celebrating its 200th anniversary throughout 2011, and there are a lot of special events listed on the city's website for this year's Home Days celebration.

Price: Admission is free.

3. ARTIST IN THE PARK

Where/When: Brecksville Reservation, 9305 Brecksville Rd., Brecksville; from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday

Why Go: Stop by the Chippewa Creek Bridge to watch Stefanie Verish, a naturalist and artist, create artwork that will be inspired by her surroundings. Bring your own art supplies and join her if you'd like.

Where/When: 9543 Broadview Rd., Broadview Heights; at 9 p.m. Saturday

Why Go: Come to the Broadview Heights Parks and Recreation Department showing of How to Train Your Dragon. Bring your blankets and chairs.

Price: Free

Where/When: , 1 Community Dr., Brecksville; at 7 a.m. Sunday

Why Go: According to the city's website, proceeds go to Run 4 UR Life and the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Organization.

Price: The 5K run is $17 and the 1-mile walk is $17. Both races are $34.
