While on the other hand you have people getting vocational training at vocational schools that essentially guarantees them a job out of school that will make them 'x' amount of money. So it isn't that college degrees are worthless, some are. It is also said that sometimes trade school is the right choice! "Old" Carl, really? No out of touch, bud. Drinking probably wasn't illegal back in yourRead More day. The laws have changed and the drinking age is now 21. Most HS kids never reach 21 while attending HS. Although you are correct, the mind set of 24% of the parents seem to be, "Well we did it, so why can't our kids? LOL." Fact is there are many new stats and facts that have come out about drinking at a young age v. waiting until 21 - kind of like smoking. Remember when everyone smoked cause it was "cool"? Now, it is viewed as disgusting and cancer causing. Times change and so can habits. Let's promote some healthy ones for our children. And P.S., McDonald's is not fast food, it is just fast.
