Pulitzer Prize Winning Play Coming to Old Town Hall
Open auditions for "August: Osage County" will be held tomorrow and Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brecksville Theater Blossom Hill building.
To open its 38th season, Brecksville Theater on the Square will feature the 2008 Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play, “August: Osage County.” The dark comedy, written by Tracy Letts, focuses on a dysfunctional Oklahoma family which is burdened by a pill-popping mother, a vanished father and three daughters who all have something to hide, according to a Brecksville Theater press release. While the women sort out the mysterious disappearance, audiences will sit back and experience the sometimes funny and sometimes disturbing interactions among the sordid members of the Weston family.
